I believe that king Solomon is in heaven today. Some believe that he is in hell today. What do you believe about where he is today, and why do you believe what you believe about where he is now?

His wives turned him to false gods. I think it’s very probable he is in hell, but I am not God, and I do not know. Whatever God did with him is right and just and it really doesn’t matter what your opinion is nor mine.

Solomon wrote Ecclesiastes, the Song of Solomon, most of the Book of Proverbs, and at least one Psalm. I do not believe that God used unregenerate people to write His holy word. His sins are troubling but I am sure that he is in heaven.
I don’t see people born again under the OT. They wrote as the Holy Spirit moved on them, but apparently weren’t indwelt. And Caiaphas, unregenerated as he was, and one of the leaders of those who crucified Christ, prophesied correctly concerning the Lord Jesus, dying for Israel, instead of the nation having more troubles with Rome.

Every person who wrote any of the Bible was a holy man of God:

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

To believe that a holy man of God is now in hell is tantamount to claiming that humans and not God ultimately determine who ends up in heaven and hell. That is not what the Bible teaches.

Solomon in his later years did take wives with strange gods and it appears he acknowledged those gods to pleas his wives, and or various reasons.

I can't say if he ever turned from that apostasy. So I can't say where he's at.

Compare Ps 87 to:

Galatians Chapter 4

26

But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother.

27

For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; Break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: For more are the children of the desolate than of her that hath the husband.

28

Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.

29

But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, so also it is now.

I believe he is with Christ (not "in Heaven as we do not "go to Heaven" but Heaven will come to us).

I believe this because Solomon seems to have had faith in God and His Promise.

Paul taught that believers who die are present with the Lord. The NT indisputably teaches that Christ is in heaven at the right hand of God the Father. We go to be with Christ in heaven when we die.

I agree that when we die we will be with Christ.

In the Bible heaven or the heavens refer to above the Earth. Paul speaks of passing through heavens, although he was not sure if this was in body ir spirit.

Heaven is sometimes used to refer to the "spiritual realm".

Then we have Paradise (where Jesus said the thief would be with Him.

What I am referring to is Heaven (the final home of those who are saved, when Heaven will descendants and Gid will dwell with man.

I did not want to hijack your thread, only to indicate my choice of "other".
