Is the GOP really conservative? And what is conservative today?

As I listen to the frenzy of sharks rushing to inflict mortal wounds in Trump, I continue to hear them say he is "not conservative enough" or that he is not even a conservative!

Let me ask if anyone can explain just what a conservative really is, and if maybe today's conservatives are not our fathers conservatives any longer?

Conservative to me = smaller government against government sponsered abortion, no entitlements, upholding the constitution and a few more things. Now is Trump conservative well 55% of his contribution for politics has gone to Democrats. Receipients are: Senator Harry Reid, former Penn. Governor Edward J. Rendell and are you ready, former Obama aide Rahm Emanuel $50,000 for his Chicago mayoral campaign. Many of these contributions have gone to states in which he has properties or casinos. I would say that makes him a liberal democrat.

I think you forgot that Romney sought Trump's endorsement in 2012, and an endorsement always comes with a hefty check … Furthermore, me thinks your information is far from factual. Trump may not have given as much to the GOP, but he has donated a considerable sum, especially since 2008.
