when they sat on their hands and helped the GOP lose to the Communists?

How about it, DEMS? Is this true. Do you want us to win or retreat? Pelosi says it is not a winnable war and I see that several liberals on this board already agreed with her.

Higher minimum wage? NCLB? Is that what America wanted?

    How about you?

The GOP is only slightly less left then the Dems. The GOP has not conservatives left in the party.

You can expect a min wage increase, and coming soon illegal alien amnesty.

Conservatives have no party to reprisent them.

I agree with Speaker of the House Pelosi about Iraq. We are not fighting a war, we are attempting to police a civil war. The only results, unfortunately, is more American soldiers killed and wounded.

I also agree with increasing the minimum wage. Even if it means I will have to pay more in places like restaurants, these workers deserve it.

I disagree, however, with No Child Left Behind. The problem is that the too many schools only teach what is necessary to pass the State test, and thereby get more money.

Really, how do you figure? How much should a person who works at Burger King drive up window make. Should they make enough that they consider it a career instead of a job. Not beliteling the job it is a job but why artificaly inflate the wage. Dont you think the market should decide how much jobs are worth.

I am with you here. The problem is this is a state issue and not a federal gov issue. States should be able to decide education issues for themselfs.

Increase the minimum wage and watch higher prices offset it. It is a never-ending story.

Leave education up to the states. And the states leave not get heavy-handed in regulating it. Stop the HUGE drain of taypayer money to the feds to mess with education when all they create is a mess. Ted Kennedy style.

I left the Dems long ago.

I would say let's wait and see. The Democrats just won, their session hasn't even started yet.

But here on the BB we already have several threads about what they will and won't do. Why not just wait and see?

I am glad the Democrats won if for no other reason than to create some checks and balances. Oh how I would love a 3rd party to support, and I will continue to vote for them when they are avalible, but until we get a good 3rd party, there isn't too much to worry about when EITHER party is in control.

    They are BOTH corrupt.

So, you disagree with Bush that DEMS actually want America to win the war? Thanks for your honesty. Now, if only Bush could be so honest about it.

Unfortunately for all of us, the DEMS are all for it. I believe it was a Democrat named Kennedy who helped write the bill.

The Fascists lost because they did a terrible job of governing this nation. Their fearless leader is absolutely the WORST PRESIDENT IN HISTORY. I expect both Bush and Cheney to be impeached in the remainder of Bush's term. If not, I hope we still have a free country left by 2008.

Do you agree with Bush that <edited - LE> commies want America to win the war on terror in Iraq, or do you agree with Pelosi and Terry who say otherwise?

For the most part this is true, with the notable exceptions of Jim Holt and Tom Tancredo. There could possibly be more. But that is all that I know of.

Doesn't deserve an answer. Learn to discuss the issues in good faith and i'll respond. BTW I'm not a Communist. I'm a Christian.[questioning another person's salvation is not allowed and has been deleted]

Um, who are you calling a Communist?

I thought No Child Left Behind was the initiative of our "Education President".

The minimum wage has not kept pace with higher prices since 1968. Are prices significantly higher in Santa Fe to reflect the higher minimum wage?

I am sure you're kidding right? This would will not get better, but only get worse before the second coming.

Also, the joy you're seeking can be found, even in the toughest parts of the world. The joy comes from knowing a loving, caring, and saving Lord, Jesus Christ. :jesus:

As far as making children's movies, please do continue to strive for that, there is never too much good for kids these days. The battle for their hearts between good and evil is great these days. They need people like yourself that will present a Christian view to them.

    1. I am calling the Communists exactly what they are.

    2. Go back and check it out, but if memory serves me correct, it was Kennedy who helped write that wonderful piece of legistlation.

    3. The reason minimum wage hasn't kept pace with higher prices is because the businesses keep raising prices everytime the communists raise it or they fire people to offset the difference. I guess that is what the Commies want though.

Not a single Communist won in the US election.

Rep. Jack Boehner (R-Ohio), linkie, was the Chairman of the committee that sponsored it.

The prices have risen independently of the minimum wage. Communists have nothing to do with the minimum wage.

You need to check your inflammatory rhetoric for acuracy. Or does accuracy matter to you?

You're a little confused, son. Bush and the Republicans did "No Child Left Behind."
