Snipped:

"Be a friend of Israel, but even if you won't be, we have the greatest ally in the world," he said, pointing to the heavens.

Esther Pollard followed, telling the crowd that her message to the US president was that "your problem isn't with Prime Minister Netanyahu, nor is it with the People of Israel. Your problem, Mr. President, is with the almighty God of Israel!"

Israel should stand up for its self....but the God of Israel was rejected and still is as a whole. John 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. God is God over ALL nations BTW.

MKs Respond: 'Zionist Vision is Stronger than Any President'

by Hillel Fendel

(IsraelNN.com) As the Israeli government convenes to discuss the ramifications of U.S. President Barack Obama's speech in Cairo, other Israeli politicians have lost no time in responding to it. Excerpts:
MK Danny Danon (Likud): “The president has crossed all lines. His implied comparison between the Israeli government and the Nazi regime said everything. He has made a covenant with the Arab world and rewarded it for more than 60 years of aggression.”

MK Aryeh Eldad (National Union): “Obama makes a shocking parallel between the destruction of European Jewry and the suffering that the Arabs of Israel brought upon themselves when they declared war on Israel.”

MK Eldad: How dare Obama compare Arab refugee suffering to the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust?

“If Obama does not understand the difference between them, perhaps he will understand it better when he visits the Buchenwald concentration camp in the comings days. And if he doesn’t understand it even there, then Islam will once again teach it to him, just as it taught his predecessor on 9/11.”

Regarding Obama’s praise of Islam, Eldad said, “Obama spoke more from his own heart and less from genuine understanding of the direction Islam is taking around the world. Whoever thinks that the establishment of a Palestinian state will stop the war in Darfur, India, Chechnya, and Europe will apparently soon learn that Israel is not willing to be the ‘pound of flesh’ that he wants to throw to the Muslims.”

The title of this thread is a bit misleading. It was not Israel nor the government of Israel who made the statement used in the OP ... it was the looney far right wing in Israel, the folk who was to produce a 'final solution' with the Arabs being eliministed ths time.

Here is the title of the article. Seems we had a long discussion something over a year ago about created titles instead of posting the original title of the article.

Far-right wing activists launch anti-Obama campaign

The word "government" is nowhere in the title.Nobody said it was the Israeli government. Are you now saying the protestors are not Israeli's? The title was no way meant to deceive or delude and I do not appreciate your inference. If you don't like the topic, don't participate in the thread.

And I would like to see you prove your charge towards the protestors about a "final solution" towards Arabs. If you can't, you are lying.

The title of this thread is "Israelis tell Obama "No You Can't" ". The word Israelis indicates all the people living in Israel and thus infers the government. Like I said, a year or so ago there was a discussion on the ethics of making up a title and not pasting the real title of the article in the post.

Concerning the ultra-right wing ... apparently you have never known one and have never seen one interviewed on television or radio. They are just as extreme in their hatred as the military Islamists. Both are wrong. Both are uncompromising. Both are a huge part of the problem.

I must have touched a raw nerve. I thought name calling like was an offense on this board.

I am not responsible for your thoughts and how you infer things in your liberal view of the world. Since you haven't proved your allegation about right wing Israeli's wanting a "final solution for Arabs" the readers of this board will draw their own conclusions about you and your statements.

BTW, I am not closing this thread because you do not like the topic and tried to derail it.

Just curious. Which nations would you say have not rejected Him?

Religion is no longer national, it is individual. One must come to Christ for themselves and not as a nation. I believe that is the problem, the Jews believe just being Jew will save you and not being a child of the King.

No one has ever in the history of the world came to Christ as a nation.
