    I'm so excited I have to share this with someone, as a surprise for my wife on our 25th Wedding Anniversary I have booked an 11 night trip to the Far East. Five nights in Hong Kong, follwed by a five night cruise stopping at Hanoi & Hue in Vietnam, and then on to Sanya in South China. She is going to be sooo shocked!!! Keep it a secret now!:thumbs:

    We are going, Lord willing, in February, so I will let you all know how we got in when we get back.

    Sounds like a super trip. I hope you are able to keep the surprise.

    How did you come to choose SE Asia? Have you been there before or is this just an area that you'd like to visit?

    Also, is it relatively safe to travel there?

    Let us know how it works out.

    If I were married, my wife better not pull something like that on me; an 11 night trip without my knowledge! And you're stopping in Hanoi? Her name ain't Jane, is it?

    Haven't been there before, but my wife has aways wanted to travel to the Far East. I am going with Royal carribean cruises which is a reputable company, and they organise shore trip etc. so I think we should be safe enough.

    I will certainly give you a report when we get home.

    I may need them before then. My wife keeps asking me what we are going to do for our anniversary this year, and I keep evading the question. I have said "Leave it with me... don't worry we will do something... 25 is just a number etc.," Our anniversary is on the 27th Dec, so it won't be too long before I reveal all, I just hope I can survive 'til then.

    How wonderful!! I know you'll have a great time!

    My family just got back Sunday from England and France. We celebrated my parents 50th Anniversary and our 25th. We enjoyed ourselves, as I know you will.

    I am going to give her the tickets on our anniversary (Dec 27th) but we don't leave until Feb 11th, so we have plenty of time to pack and enjoy the pre-trip excitement.

    I have also arranged for her to have two weeks off work.
