We had terrible storms come across our area last night (Eastern North Carolina) causing severe damage in many of our surrounding areas. A terrible cell of lighting, high winds and tornadoes came right over the Southwest Area, which is where we live.

Just prior to the storm I asked the Lord to spare our roof as it's in desperate need of replacing.

In short, the rains came and the floods came and the winds blew and beat upon our home..., and it fell not. Didn't lose even one shingle and the power never went off.

Praise the Lord!!!! :godisgood:.

Other areas didn't fare so well. Up around Raleigh and Greenville it's claimed that as much as 70 million in damage. What a storm.

This morning, the sun is out, the air is crisp, the sky is blue..., a great day to head off to morning worship.

Praise the Lord!!!!

That is wonderful news. Not one shingle and no loss of power? That was the LORD, indeed. I mean that.
