I read on the christianbook.org website that they are offering J. Vernon McGee's six-volume commentary on the Bible at a very discounted price.

I was wondering if any of you in BB Land have used this commentary; and, if you did, did you find it to be very useful.

I was wondering if any of you in BB Land have used this commentary; and, if you did, did you find it to be very useful.

Bought it some years ago, and love it!

He writes just like he talked, so I feel kinda like I'm listening to him on the radio when I read it.

Always use his input when teaching SS lessons, and agree with, one, probably 95% or better of his comments. Disagreements have been mostly minor and some of his "assumptions".

My recommendation - buy it!!!!!!:thumbs:
