Does anyone know how to get these videos pulled down? I contacted YouTube but they said the videos were not inappropriate. I think they are, and was wondering if there is a way to rate them lower so they do not show up in a search or something to that affect.

Any ideas from the more tech savvy people out there?

Are we in America? There are lots of videos I don't agree with on Youtube but I just don't watch them. So do yourself a favor and don't click on them.

I completely understand your point. These videos were brought to my attention by teens in our youth group and it's making a big stink in our church. No so much because someone made a video, but because they want to know if Dr. Schaap really teaches some of the things the videos accuse him of.

I have successfully dodged the Dr. Schaap controversy at my church, and it looks like my time of peace is up!

Notr trying to trample free speech here, just wondering if there was a way to use the system in place to reduce the impact of the videos. That's all!

No, it's not. The response, "We don't follow men" should do just fine.

Did he actually say those things?

    If so, something wrong..
If not, then teach them about the sin of gossip.

If your students are exposed to false teaching, you should give them correction and good doctrine immediately. And in doing so, you and your students must not get involved in personality issues or else your credibility as an objective expositor of the word may be damaged.

I don't have access to youtube, but if it's the videos by Sanderson1611, then yes, Schaap teaches everything he is accused of especially his teaching that the Lord's Supper is having sex with Jesus. It's very clear in his book "The Divine Intimacy".

Sanderson1611 has his own problems though, and shouldn't really worry about Schaap.

Ahhh - our dear friend Mr. Anderson.

He was banned from here a while ago.

At least Sanderson has the manhood to post his real name. This guy is called IFBsSuck. He's the one who posted the video on "Jack Schaaps still small voice" and the "Christian Womanhood Spectacular spoof".

The ones from Sanderson are just a s dumb though.

The attitude towards Steven Anderson from you, Tinytim, is appalling. I remember reading some of his posts here earlier, and you mocked and attacked him (which seems like one of your favoured traits).

Steven Anderson is misled in doctrine, no doubt (he would say the same about me). His sermon delivery seems very pride filled, although I tend to be in agreement with him on his more serious sermons (but I think he falls into the IFB trap of preaching on topical things too much, like should christians go to the doctor. My sermon on that topic consists of one word. Yes).

However, from what I do know about him, he is a godly man dedicated to soulwinning and his family. Call him a "cheap grace" fanatic if you want. Apparently, according to his old pastor who I emailed with some questions, he witnessed to his wife about 30 times before she got saved (they weren't married at the time of course).

I don't agree with him on certain doctrinal issues (I don't believe the KJB is Jesus, and I believe in a pre trib rapture).

I respect Steven Anderson for the godly soulwinning man that he is, and respectfully disagree with him and would not fellowship with him because of certain doctrines he holds. I have prayed for him several times - for him to be corrected by the holy spirit, but also for his soulwinning work to be fruitful.

I regret mentioning his name, as it only gave opportunity to others to puff themselves up.

Sanderson called the KJV God, equating it with The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

That is pure heresy.. and the Bible says to call them out!

I have no respect for a heretical teacher.

Besides I was actually kinda defending him here by pointing out that the videos were not from him...
I said "The ones I seen were not from Spamderson..."

And if you have your panties in a wad because I said Spam.. .get over it.. because he spammed this board with his heretical doctrine for a long tiime.

Long before you came on here...

Now back to the OP... instead of attacking me.

As the Admin who banned him, Mr. Anderson was a drive by poster. He would post and then not return to a thread for any discussions. That is spamming and trollish behavior.

Squire is right. He absolutely refused to engage on any of the topics he brought up. We were left here to debate his topics without him.

He appeared--no, he actually was--more interested in promoting his website than anything else.

Back to the topic, one of the difficult things with Schaap is that there is no real difference between his seriousness and a parody of him.

You are so right on Larry! Watching them all up on stage in their matching suits and haircuts - I mean wow!

Besides his fundy extremes, didn't he get into hot water a while back over something with the Lord's Supper? Of all the things in all the world he advocates and teaches, the Lord's Supper is what get's him, now that's funny.
