    Has anyone heard "Jesus Put a Yodel In My Soul" ?

    Our son was in Austria in the winter of 1997 staying with a missionary family. The family recorded the song and gave a copy to our son, we have misplaced it. Does anyone know where I can find one?

    Well, you must'nt have heard cousin Pearl on Beverly Hillbillies [​IMG]

    You know, we used to have a congregation of "snowbirds" and there were a couple yodellers there. When they'd "sing", it took all I had to keep a straight face.

    Thanks pj, I'll take a look at it. Meantime I'll keep looking around the house. Things disappear around here, sometimes they reappear, sometimes not.
    It's sort of like the proverbial sock.

    My wife found the tape that has "Jesus Put On Yodel In My Soul", I was wrong, the people in Austria did not sing that song. They copied a recording from a tape by Wanda Jackson.

    They did make a recording on the same tape of themselves singing other songs in Austria.

    Ranger Doug of "Riders in the Sky" is excellent as a yodeler. Probably the premiere yodeler today.

    However, I may have to agree with PastorSBC1303 that it possibly needs to be misplaced.
