Job in doubt...

    January was a really bad month for my workplace. Money is tight and we went through layoffs. Now there is talk that the company might not be able to make it through till summer. The President of the company is looking for a way out and we may loose our Jobs. I'm not terrified but I worry for everyone who may be loosing their jobs. I welcome your prayers.

    A lot of this going around today!!! The prayer requests are the same at our Church the names just change from time to time. Thank

    I know what you are going through, and have been through it multiple times myself. It is horrible, but you will survive.

    Wishing you all the best. I guess the recession is hitting much of the developed world. My Dad is facing probable redundancy as are many in the UK.

    :praying: ascending. Similar boat here - except I'm the boss and I've had to lay off most of my staff in the last year or so. I didn't take home any money at the end of January so we could keep the remaining ones on. We're all in a tight spot, so I really feel for you. Hang in there - by God's grace, we'll make it! "Now to Him who is able to do more etc"...

    We prayed for the economic situation in the UK at our prayer meeting tonight, suppose we should have prayed for the worldwide situation as well. My Dad is OK for now but still perilous, I myself am working part-time and looking for full-time work but obviously its going to be tough in the current climate.

    I do pray that not only the economy will turn around soon, but that God uses the trials we are going through to draw people closer to Him. That they come to realize that they are not in control, but He.
