Died: Superstar Billy Graham, Teenage Evangelist Who Became a Wrestling Legend

Wayne Coleman saw "a revival tent in Phoenix with a big sign that read Ye Must Be Born Again. He went inside and heard the fundamentalist Baptist John R. Rice preaching on the doctrine of eternal salvation. Once you were saved by Jesus, Rice said, there was nothing you could do to separate yourself from the grace of God."

"When it came time for the altar call, the fundamentalist looked directly at the gawking young bodybuilder and said, 'Come on, son....It’s your turn to be saved'."

After reading this, this Old Timer thought of the song... I beg your pardon!... I never promised you a rose garden... Most who read this say, well he was born again, then he wasn't born again, then he got his act together and he was born again but then fell again and had to be reborn... Some say Christianity is a cakewalk... I like the comment by one preacher who said, you know a lot of people go church hopping... Looking for the perfect church!... You will not find the perfect church... Do you want to know why... It wasn't perfect when got there and you joining will not make it perfect... Spurgeon further said church is a hospital for sinners... Christianity is not a cakewalk, its a war!... If its not why do we need armor?... We are not supposed to fight among ourselves but to often we do, and we fight ourselves and fight God, when we do our own thing and we also fight the devil too... After reading this I think of the 99 sheep that the Lord left and went after the one... At times we have trouble seeing and understanding the love and mercy of God and only want judgement... God is in the Salvation business and we are not... He saves to uttermost and I believe him, no matter what men say... Good article Jerome!... Brother Glen:)
