Just downloaded his new release, "God's gonna cut you down"

Have you heard it? What did you think?

Usually I don't like that style, but something about it struck me.

I thought about buying the album, heard part of it at Borders. It's just hard for me to hear the American Recordings albums as his voice sounds so weak, not the strong voice I so enjoy with Johnny Cash.

I did hear another one that was excellent, though, Dressed in Black, a tribute album that was excellent! I didn't care too much for Kindred Spirits, the other more popular tribute album.

Either I got a bad disk, or it sounded like someone who should have retired 20 years ago..........Afraid, I added the disk to my fence around the garden to deter deer.

I'll keep my other recordings and my memory of Johnny Cash, thank you very much.
