    Goodness. I did not remember that Patsy Ramsey had died in June. I hope some sense of justice comes to this family.

    I really do not know where to start praying. On the one hand, John must feel some relief that they caught the guy, and he has given a partial confession. But, on the other hand there is a trial. And on that note, I pray that he has been able to forgive the DA and the other people that made such evil allegations against him.

    Honestly, I pray that the trial is just long enough for him to get some closure.

    According to news this evening she was aware that the investigation was getting close to an arrest.

    We can pray that the media does not over blow this as much as they did the rumors and innuendos that the family faced for years. There needs to be no opportunity for a claim of jury bias when this gets to trial.

    Of course, there will always be some who won't believe this. There will be those who cling to the earlier rumors. Such a shame for a family that had so much public pain.

    The suspect was teaching over there. Luckily, or FINALLY, he's been caught. I'm sooooo glad that he's been caught. Perhaps what is left of the family can find closure and begin to heal. They have been through it.....my heart goes out to them.

    I wonder if John Ramsey can sue all of those who accused him falsely and slandered his name?

    What that pedophile has said so far is sick.

    I just pray that John and what is left of his family can move on and find the peace of God. I doubt that he will ever have 'peace', but I do pray that he will have the 'peace of God'.

    May the Holy Spirit comfort him on this arduous and painful journey that this trial will become.

    We were discussing this at lunch. I teach and it was the topic of discussion. All of us felt badly that the parents had been wrongfully accused for so long. We are all extremly grateful that the killer has been caught. According to what I heard on the news this a.m.....he was "in love with Jon Bennet"......he's sick and twisted.

    May the God of all comfort be with the family as he has been and will continue to be. May Jon Bennet and Patsy finally rest in peace. And, may this bring prayer back for a family that needs our prayers. I hope and pray for healing for the father and son left behind......it's been a tough 10 years.:praying:

    Probably not as the tragedy made him a public figure and rules are very lax even for involuntary ones.

    Is the suspect guilty?

    I heard some folks in the office here talking about it this morning, that this guy may have just been seeking publicity in some weird way, that this guy said he had drugged her but that the autopsy didn't show drugs in her body, and that the guy's wife said he was with his family at the time of the abduction. I don't know, never knew enough about the case to know if this makes sense.

    Personally, my thought is that if he is convicted and executed, it's still one less pedophile on the planet. I do want them to catch whoever is guilty, whether it's him or whoever.

    He is plain wierd that is correct.

    And because he is so wierd, the family may not get the closure they need.

    I pray that they do get closure.

    The case on this is not closed yet -- it looks like the suspect could be someone who just wanted to confess for notoriety or because he really thinks he did it (this apparently happens with people who get obsessed with crime cases, which he was).

    No matter what this guy should be in jail for, and it seems there are pending charges against him, it seems possible that he is not the guy who killed Jon-Benet. In fact, they said today on the news that he fits the profile of people who make false confessions to crimes.
