The prosperity gospel makes my blood boil This is worse than a perversion of the gospel; it is the sickest lie of the devil and it has infected so many in the Church. I'm going to allow myself to stray into a clarification of the meaning of "redemptive suffering" this Sunday in the pulpit... to quote Piper, "I don't know what you feel about the prosperity gospel but I can tell you what I feel... HATRED..."
