I have a question, maybe some could help.

Is there ever an incident in the Bible where God has a common man to pronounce judgement against the poltical or religious leaders?

I am thinking no, but could be wrong.

Ever case I am thinking of, it has always been someone that was in leadership, such as a prophet, apostle or such.

How would you define "common man?"

Many of the prophets were common folk. John the Baptist was common.(insofar as not royalty, and had no title bestowed) Sometimes, I think we forget the fact that many of our Biblical heroes were common folks.

I don't know if I have the story correct, but King David was walking once and a man eithier spoke (cursed) agianst him or threw some stones at him and the men with the King and they asked thier King should we kill that person and David said no, because He thought that GOD could have been chastizing him through that man........

How about in Numbers 27 where the daughters of Korah took issue with the Eleazar, the priest, and Moses and other leaders, because their father died with no sons, and therefore no heirs, as it was then. They thought they should be given a possession of the lands for their father, even though they are female. Moses took their case the the LORD, who said they are right, they should be given an inheritance.

But it doesn't sound as if they were condeming/rebuking God's man, just questioning the decsion made:saint:

I think the word you are looking for is "layman" not common folk.

If you are talking about someone in the congregation approaching the pastor to rebuke him, that is just plain wrong.

Scripture gives us the correct way of rebuking ANY Christian.

We have deacons and elders to approach the pastor. That is precisely why we have leaders. It is not the layman's job, scripturally.

1 Timothy 5:19 "Do not receive an accusation against an elder except on the basis of two or three witnesses."
