Try this - it's really neat ....and quite revealing!

    WHO IS YOUR ROLE MODEL???

Try it without looking at answers

    1) Pick your favorite number between 1-9

    2) Multiply by 3 then

    3) Add 3, then again Multiply by 3 (I'll wait while you get the calculator....)

    4) You'll get a 2 or 3 digit number….

    5) Add the digits together

    Now Scroll down ...............

Now with that number see who your ROLE MODEL is from the list below :

    1. Einstein

    2. Nelson Mandela

    3. Bill Gates

    4. Gandhi

    5. Brad Pitt

    6. Hitler

    7. Bill Clinton

    8. Paris Hilton

    9. ~Sister Spinach~

    10. Barack Obama

Not me, but I refer all of my math problems to Sister Bitsy Griffin (d/b/a "McDirector.")

Aye, lads and lassies, Sister Bitsy has married into Scottish lineage!

Bet she throws a really mean caber toss at the National Highland Games which are held annually at Grandfather Mountain----less than 100 miles from her home in Winston-Salem, NC.

You multiplied by 3 twice - that's multiplying by 9.

Every multiple of 9 adds up to 9.

    09
    18
    27
    36
    45
    54
    63
    72
    81
    90

They all add up to nine.

I'm sorry that I am a party pooper!!! :BangHead: :BangHead:

I'm going to pull this one on my 6th graders next week!

    BWA-HA-HAAA!!!!

(But I'll give the student who can explain it a piece of chocolate candy.) :saint:

For those of you who are unacquainted with this leisurely past time of Scottish lads (and lassies too---there being no such thing as gender discrimination when it comes to this kind of Scottish competition....both genders wear those tartan-patterned & pleated skirts [The ones with the really hairy legs are one gender, but I'm not telling which gender!!), the caber toss is essentially a competition to see how far each contestant can throw what looks like a big, long telephone pole.

Now, these poles aren't thrown like spears or javelins (They leave that up to them wimpy dudes in bicycle shorts to do that sissy stuff!).

Instead, they firmly grasp the base of said pole and start off willy-nilly running down a steep grassy (usually very wet and quite stone-infested) knoll. Then, while endeavoring to maintain their balance (some choose to do this while blindfolded) on all 3 axes (pitch, roll & yaw axes---not those things that, just before the games started they used to chop down the trees that once were these cabers!!), they toss these poles at just the right angle, each hoping that his/her caber has landed the fartherest away from the others.

Now, THAT'S WHAT SCOTS PEOPLE CALL FUN!!

A word to the wise: It's these kind of people you want as your really close friends. Reason being: When you next-door neighbor's back yard party gets way too noisy for you, call your caber-tossing Scots friends and tell 'em there's a Highland Games practice session fixin' to start right around your rowdy neighbor's property and front yard parking lot.

Oh, yes, and be sure to tell them that you neighbor has more than once boldly claimed to have come from a line of full-blooded English country gentlemen. That'll make the hairs on those Scottish lads/lassies bristle up even more.

I'd suggest you give them Scots a good 20-30 minutes to practice caber tossing on the fixtures of your rowdy supposedly-English neighbor's property--and anything else that may be situated on said propery before you call 911.

Oh, and tell them 911 dudes to be sure to bring along sufficent toe tags and body bags, and a big flat-bed truck or two to haul off those party-goers.

And tell them to forget about bringing along their billy clubs and taser guns, 'cause who's ever left from that party once those Scots people get through with their little caber toss practice....I've got a feeling won't be in much of a shape to offer any resistance!

More than likely those former party goers will actually be begging [maybe more like PLEADING] the lawmen to rescue them from their plight!
