Just HOW will Christ return?

We have no idea how Christ will return. All we can do is speculate. John Hagee is no more or less equipped to speculate than anyone else. I respect that man, but he spends way too much time preoccupied with the topic of the second coming. I wish he'd spend more time on the first coming.

I myself don't care about how Jesus will come again, or when. If he never comes, fine. If he comes tomorrow, fine. I'm ready to meet him, regardless of whether it's through him coming or me going.

 

I don't watch Hagee, nor many other televangelists, so I'm not backing up nor attacking his statement...but I do have a question about this.

Would you believe that as the scripture teaches that all things are possible with God.? And if all things are possible with God, then would you agree or disagree that Christs' return to earth could be via a white horse from the heavens? Since God is outside the realm of what is possible and impossible, would He not be able to return to earth in any way or manner He chose?

Jesus said every eye will see Him, & that's NOT symbolic. His sword will be His WORD. Just as when He was first here, He speaks and it happens. When He returns, it will be in His FULL power and glory; He left as a Lamb, even calling Himself a lamb in Revelation, but He will return as a LION, as King of kings, coming to RULE.

Perhaps I should expound on that statement. What I mean by that is that if all of my traditional presumptions of the second coming were wrong, and Jesus' second coming is not one where he literally comes to earth as we know it, then I'm okay with that. Jesus is going to come in a manner in which the Father desires, at a time of the Father's choosing, not according to my own desires or expectations on the topic. I therefore have no expectations in regards to the second coming.

I hope that makes a bit more sense. I didn't mean to imply that I think Jesus may never come.

It is not our concern on when or how HE will return BUT its our job to be ready when he returns.

Anybody can write a prophecy book on the 2d coming.

 

I don't know when Christ will return, just like everybody else here, but I do know that when He does return, there will be just one second coming. One whole. Not two phases, one secret, one public, one for His people only, the next phase for the unelect.

Agree, beasts are usually people, dragon is Satan, harlot is the apostate religious system.

Doesn't make sense to have horses coming from heaven let a lone the means by which Christ and his army reach earth.

It is the sign of the son of Man coming in power and great glory (Mt. 24:30). Another sign is the rainbow (Gen. 9:13).

 

On what do you base this erroneous assumption?

Scripture tells us that those who are alive will meet Him in the air when the rapture occurs. This is when "one shall be taken and the other left." But after the Great Tribulation He will come not to gather the elect but with the elect. At this time His feet will rest on the Mount of Olives and it will be split into two sections (see Zechariah 14). These are two separate events - one event is for the purpose of gathering the saints and the other event is for the purpose of establishing His millennial kingdom. This is based on scriptural teaching.

 

Hey, it's happened before:

2 Kings 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
