This is yet another example of how television programming has gotten out of control. I would encourage you to take the time to read the following email I received from Parents Television Council.

YOUR IMMEDIATE HELP IS NEEDED TO DRIVE THIS GROSSLY INDECENT GARBAGE OFF TV AND OUT OF OUR HOMES...
It is no exaggeration to tell you that your response to this e-mail can trigger the most important breakthrough ever in the fight against indecency on TV.
If you agree that gross indecency and out-of-control violence on TV are endangering our children and grandchildren, you are strongly urged to read this message and take immediate action today.
This is NOT an appeal for your financial support.
But we do need your immediate response today to help drive grossly indecent garbage off TV and out of our homes once and for all.
And we have an unprecedented opportunity to do exactly that because the Parents Television Council (PTC) has finally succeeded in getting indecency on TV moved to the very top of the political agenda in Washington, D.C.
Almost two years ago, the PTC launched an all-out campaign to force the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to do its job to enforce the federal law against broadcast indecency.
And in the last several months we have been increasing the pressure on the agency by alerting lawmakers on Capitol Hill to the FCC's failure to do its job and enforce the law.
Because our hard work has paid off, we stand today at a critical crossroads...
There is a palpable determination building in families, churches, communities across America and on Capitol Hill to force the FCC to do something meaningful now.
Evidence of this determination is everywhere...
In just two short weeks more than 11,000 outraged citizens alerted by the PTC have responded to e-mails just like this and BOMBARDED the FCC with formal indecency complaints against the June 10th episode of Keen Eddie aired on Fox-TV.
In a moment, you will learn more about the truly disgusting content of that Keen Eddie broadcast. But first, here are more details about recent events.
At about the same time the June 10th episode of the Keen Eddie show appeared on TV, the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee that oversees the FCC voted to give the FCC more power to crack down on indecent material on broadcast television and radio. That historic vote increases fines from $27,500 (a mere slap on the wrist for multi-billion dollar media companies) to $250,000 for a single violation, and up to $2.5 million for continuing violations!
Then, in response to our flood of demands for more aggressive FCC decency enforcement, one of the FCC Commissioners wrote to the PTC giving the agency a grade of "F" for failing to take strong action against indecency. A second Commissioner replied by saying, "I thank the Parents Television Council for your attention to this cause, and look forward to working with my colleagues at the Commission to improve the manner in which we implement and enforce our indecency rules."
The PTC called on the Commission to enact five specific steps that the FCC must take to ensure that decency standards would be enforced.
That's where Keen Eddie and you come in.
It is absolutely imperative that we crank up the pressure.
We want to DOUBLE OR TRIPLE the number of FCC complaints filed against the June 10th broadcast of the Keen Eddie show flooding the desks of the FCC Commissioners. If they don't enforce the law against this piece of filth, they'll never enforce it!
In this e-mail, I'll tell you only that the TV show in question revolved around sexual contact between a prostitute and a horse!
Can you believe this? This is one of the sickest things ever broadcast on a major TV network -- and it was aired at 9 o'clock in the evening when millions of youngsters were watching. In fact, Fox scheduled Keen Eddie to immediately follow American Juniors, a wholesome show tremendously popular with teens and preteens.
And remember, this didn't come from some pay-per-view cable porn channel. It was on the Fox-TV broadcast network, which means it was available to children in virtually every household in America.
But beyond our shared disbelief, shock, and anger - there is but one simple and obvious truth:
In the absence of any credible threat from the FCC to enforce television decency laws, Hollywood television producers will continue to broadcast sewage like Keen Eddie into our homes.
So here's what we need you to do –
1. Please click HERE to file your FCC indecency complaint now.
2. Immediately forward this message to your friends and family. Please do this much to spread the word and increase the heat on the FCC.
Hopefully, many of your friends and family will also forward this e-mail, and your INDECENCY COMPLAINT to the FCC will be multiplied many, many times over!
If we flood the FCC with INDECENCY COMPLAINTS, it cannot fail to trigger an FCC investigation leading to fines and possible loss of station licenses for the Fox-TV affiliates who aired this Keen Eddie show.
But we need you and a lot of other decent folks to take immediate action. Please don't delay.
With urgent thanks,
The Parents Television Council
