What are your thoughts on this commentary series on the OT?

It's a great technical commentary, but quite out of date now since it was written well over 100 years ago. Both men were great Hebrew and OT scholars. I spent lots of yen many years ago for the full hard copy commentary, and it was worth it, though now e-Sword and SwordSearcher both have it.

Keil was a conservative Lutheran. Delitszch was also conservative, but a little more open to critical ideas than Keil. There is a little information about them at: http://www.swordsearcher.com/christian-authors/keil-delitzsch.html

I think that for the price it is one of the better purchases . . .

And that was before I knew you could get it electronically free . . .

As all 16 of my FREE commentaries from e-sword (I love it, and plug it any chance I get www.e-sword.com ), I refer to it quite often:thumbs:
