Interesting, but just on the surface, I understand what he is saying.

He says he doesn't like flying commercial because he doesn't like flying with a bunch of demons.

IOW demons follow those given over to sin including in the captive audience of a CRAM FILLED commercial airline.
He mentioned alcohol consumption on commercial airplanes which he apparently believes is demonic.

Then he went through the standard explanation of the "prosperity gospel" because the news journalist questioned his luxuriant/affluent life as inconsistent with a preacher of the gospel.

One reason he gave for owning a private aircraft is the colossal amount of time it saves, no booking, no standing in line, no third party schedule, etc, etc...

Is it actually wrong for a preacher to use ministry wealth to advance the gospel? Billy Graham, Franklin Graham?
How much I guess is the question.

How about others chiming in?

No I am not charismatic.

Business CEOs use corporate jets. Why shouldn't preachers?

Even though it is the best way to keep their schedule, they shouldn't do it because some don't like the way it looks? Exxon needs jets, but The Gospel is not worthy of them being used to spread it?

If it is only a matter of maintaining one’s schedule, there are many less expensive options than buying and operating (don’t forget those costs) a Gulfsteam. This make of jet is considered among the upper-echelon of luxury aircraft.

This isn’t “charismatic”, the denomination Copeland is in is called “Word of Faith.” I used to work for one of Copeland’s subordinates and can tell you the greed & corruption of the gospel is rampant in that denomination.

The guy I worked for has a mega-church in Minnesota. Part of his “board approved” salary package was taking a loan out of the church at an incredible interest rate, buying the aircraft from the church as personal property, then leasing the aircraft back to the church (for his sole use) for twice his loan payments. So the church was essentially paying him to own the aircraft.

This was done to avoid taxes on income.

BTW - the board is made up of Kenneth Copeland and a bunch of other guys who all run exactly the same scams on their congregations. The guy I worked for had 12 homes, dozens of vehicles & motorcycles and boats all over the world and was considered a lower level guy.

Ironically, it’s one of the least free cults there is. You are told if you are not prospering it is because you are not giving enough... of your sick, not giving enough... if you are unhappy in your marriage, not giving enough. If your life isn’t perfect, you are unspiritual... and not giving enough.

It’s total bondage to greed, envy, works.

Uh, yes it is "charismatic". If Copeland is not charismatic then no one is. I only need to see/hear him preach once to know that.

Corrupt? Well so you indicate and so it seems.
