The Kenya Government has decided to deport Dr Jerome Corsi, the author of a book critical of US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

I think the main reason he was deported was because they consider the book to defame their government. From the article you linked:

It's hard to tell who they're "protecting" the most, members of the Kenyan government or Obama.
