    Recently I picked up a book at a yard sale for 10 cents. Anyone know anything about it or the author:

    "The Temple: Its Ministry and Services at the Time of Jesus Christ" by The Rev Dr. Edersheim

    I believe it was publishe in the late 40s.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Alfred Edersheim was Grinfield lecturer at Oxford in the late 1800's and famous author of The Life and Times of Jesus The Messiah.

    The Temple is another of his numerous books, filled with historical information and valuable background data.

    By the way, when the first edition of this book was released, the cost in Canadian dollars was, 2 volumes in plain edges $2.00 list.
