    I was thinking FOX was trying to get him on the show "24". Everyone but me is watching this show. Or maybe Kobe is trying to get on LOST. Another show that everyone but me is watching.

    Its ok I dont watch them either. I wonder how the guy that is already wearing 24 feels about the situation, I wonder if they will let him wear #8.

    Why do you think he is changing his number?

    Is he trying to change his image? Maybe Kobe is trying to say he is 1 better than jordan 23+1=24. Maybe he is trying to get people to talk about this discussion boards so they will take notice of him.

    As far as Jackson, players regularly buy the rights to a jersy number for cash, gifts, etc. Happens all the time. And the marketing people are going to make a killing on this. Kobe #8 jerseys will sell like collectables on EBay, and the stores will sell out of Kobe #24 jerseys.
