I forgot to post this first article from Malaysia. This was written before the other article I posted here an hour or two ago.

Kuala Lipis, Malaysia

This pleasant town is easily on my short list of favorite stays in Malaysia. The only unpleasant reception we had here was a leech my wife discovered on her foot. We should have expected this, since the name of the town translates to “place of leeches“! But the other wildlife we encountered here far outbalanced this one little bloodsucker.
