    Shame on Kenneth Copeland.

The ending of this video will make you very, very angry (and so it should). How dare the Copelands claim to be ministers of God.

You have to ache for the Parkers at the very least in all of this.

Nope. I ache for Donna and her family whom the Parkers took advantage of. They swindled a hundred thousand dollars from her, maybe more, then make excuses for riding around in their 20 million dollar jet.

Poor lady died of cancer, an illness she was under the impression would be healed.

According to her hubby, she also died questioning her faith. :tear:

I think we are talking about the same person - I thought it was Bonnie Parker who died of cancer and the Copelands who took advantage of her.

This never changes. Televangelist should be locked away for breaking tax laws, practicing medicine without a license, and running a confidence scam. Copeland, Roberts, Bakker, Swaggert, Dollar, Parsley, and the rest are all crooks and thieves. They had better enjoy their ill gotten wealth here, because unless there is some serious repentance and regeneration, they are trying to get a camel through the eye of the needle.

I'm still holding out for the "possibility" that they have already reimbursed their "ministry" for all the expenses of their vacation trips. I'm not giving it much hope, though.

I'm not counting on a $20 million jet. A helicopter would be nice, but i just can't see a jet.

Mr. and Mrs. Copeland got a jet to do evangelism business with. It cost millions. This poor woman, Bonnie Parker, who had cancer spent thousands - tens of thousands - gambled even to get them - to give to the Copelands so that she could be healed. And while they were gallivanting around in Maui and on big game resorts and a few other places, she died questioning her faith. Her family is angry. The Copelands are going about business as usual.

This thing called "spreading the gospel" has been a most effective tool of Satan in defaming God, in spreading "his" gospel (the good news that God is not), and in leading many naive but otherwise sincere children of God astray and into the much wider path of "questioning one's faith".

I feel sorry for Miss Parker, but I feel sorrier for those she left behind, who will have to hear more of the hypocrisies of Kenneth Copeland and his likes, and bear the bitterness of realizing that their beloved departed has been taken by a glib, smooth-talking, thick-skinned blaspheming child of the devil passing himself off as a minister of the Most High God.

I think when God allowed me to walk the path of armed resistance many years ago before leading me to Himself in a small, dusty Baptist church, he was preparing me to be always, ALWAYS, skeptical of Bible-thumping, shouting, "praise the Lord"-ing, preachers who travel in style, sleep in classy hotels, and glitter literally in golden rings and bracelets. As soon as I see one, they immediately go down in my book as FRAUDS, CHEATS, EMBEZZLERS, SWINDLERS, THIEVES.

    Why ?

Because my Lord had not a rock to lay His hands on, and He walked, miles, miles, and miles, and so did His apostles.

As for spreading the gospel ?

That was done by the apostles, most effectively, under the command and guidance of the Most High God.

I remember my grandmother on my mother's side fell for the 'send us your money' televangelists.

Grandmother had moved in with her youngest daughter and had never owned a television in the 88 years she had been alive.

My Aunt would turn on televangelists for Grandma to hear preaching because she was unable to go to Church. Little did my Aunt know that Grandma was falling for the 'send your seed offering for a blessing from God' routine.

Little did Grandma know what that money would be used for after her passing. When she passed, my Aunt was cleaning the room and decided since she never watched TV anyway, she would throw it out. Under the TV in several envelopes was almost enough money to pay for Grandma's burial expenses.

Grandma had been putting it in the envelopes and sliding it under the TV because she though it was a window and she was giving her money to the man of God. In her case, the money was recovered.

Sadly, in most others, it is not.

Kenneth Copeland is a product of the Oral Roberts University. Does that mean that this University teaches that Jesus had sin, being that Copeland preaches that Jesus was the first "born again" from sin. In other words he is saying Jesus had sin.

Do other Christian Universities teach the same, that Jesus had sin, or does anyone know of any????

I have felt for a long time that a graduate of a certain University will preach, whatever he was taught at this University. How does students of these Universities know that they are being taught the scriptual truth, when they pick a University? People start when they are very young at these Universities, when they are very easy persuaded one way or the other. Of course a Lutheran University will teach different meanings to scripture than, say a Baptist, or a Catholic and so forth. There are a couple of classes that come to mind where they tried to teach me that "sin is good", just for an example. They will teach you according to where they are premill, postmill, amill and so forth. The finished product then will butts heads with those who came from the other Universities.

I think that is what Paul meant when he said, I never learned it of man and neither was I taught it, but it came through and by the revelations of Jesus Christ.

Also, he that lacketh wisdom, let him ask of God.

Many Universities if not most will teach that there will be a 1000 year reign of Christ here on earth. If you attend these Universities then you will go forth teaching the same thing. That is why it is hard for me to blame someone who tries to teach this. Of course there are other Universities that teach that it is a Spiritual 1000 years and a Spiritual New Earth and New Heaven, and if it was going on right now the natural man could not see it. If my history resourses are right the Spiritual doctrine was taught for many hundreds of years with the exception of a few. I understand that the Earthly reign even though it was taught in the 1st century by some, it was squashed by the church for hundreds of years until someone in the 17th century, but mostly by John Darby in the 18th century and alone with D.L. Moody was then brought to the States. If anyone preached or taught a earthly Kingdom before the 18th century, they were considered heretics, with the exception of Justinmatr (sp) and a few others.

I already know what Ed Sutton says, but would like to know what the rest of you think?

    What say you??

I would not consider the 1000 year reign as a fundamental of the faith. But a sinless Jesus Christ is the very foundation of it.

You are right and I guess this is the wrong forum to bring up the other, but would like to know how much influence Universities have on a person's theology, like if Oral Roberts University teaches Jesus had sin.

    :applause:

Time the Copelands went to face the Lord, methinks...they've had a good innings, as we say over here.
