Out local PBS station broadcasts the Welk show on Sat at 7 pm (EDT)

Would you like to see a show like LW return to the airways?

What did you like about LW
What did you not like about LW

Now, one question I have - How much $$ did the LW show spend each each on outfits?

I like it for the nostalgia. I can actually remember seeing it in black and white from back in the 50s, when I was 4 or 5 years old. The thing I remember most from back then was seeing Lawrence Welk get down on the accordian.
In the 60s, every Saturday night, my parents were tuned in. You never saw a cleaner cut, well-dressed cast of entertainers. Those who worked for him said that Lawrence Welk was a hard man to work for because he was a stickler for perfection.

Record it every Saturday night to watch later. Record it in case I want to rewind & check something out or clarify something. My hearing ain't "20-20", so this helps tremendously.
Also it's one of the very few shows that are morally clean anymore.
Several years back, PBS did not run his show for quite a spell, & my wife & I sure did miss it.
