I read this book a long time ago but consider it to be a Spurgeon classic. I especially like the illustrations on the body posturing and gyrations of the preachers. Has anyone else read this and if you had what did you think of it?... Brother Glen :D

It was required reading when I was in Seminary, and I require all my students to read it also. I also require all new staff members to read it, especially the essay entitled "The Preachers Fainting Fits" so they won't be caught off guard when I have a bad day! :D

It is MUST reading for any preacher, absolute must reading. It should be re-read on an annual basis. Dr. C's point is good about the "Fainting Fits" chapter as well. The chapter on the minister's call outstanding.
