Elder Chris contemplates 1 Corinthians 30-31. The Greeks thought that philosophy would allow them to arrive at perfect peace. But Paul instructed that God’s salvation is foolishness to the world. God positionally put us in the Lord Jesus Christ before we ever existed, which made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption. Only God could come up with this great plan for our salvation. Let us glory, but let us glory in the Lord.

Yet another blatant fiction falsely presenting another gospel.

1 Corinthians 1:30-31 NASB
But it is due to Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written: “LET THE ONE WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD.”

Does this passage say God put us in union with Christ? Yes!
Does this passage say when God put us into out union with Christ? Nope
So the claim this passage indicates we were put into union with Christ before God credited our faith as righteousness is "blatant fiction."

What does the actual context of the passage indicate? See 1 Corinthians 1:26 to 29.

1) Paul is addressing his siblings that have been put in union with Christ, sometime during their lifetime.

2) Not many of these siblings were considered by the world to be wise, mighty or noble.

3) God chose the foolish"of the world" demonstrating those chosen were living in the world at the time of their being put into union.

Behold the actual gospel of Christ!
