    Hello, I go by the handle of Sapper Woody. My real name is Bob Presswood, not to be confused with one of the moderators on this forum. I am an Independent, Fundamental Baptist. I do not believe what I believe because I am Baptist, I am Baptist because they believe what I believe.

    I am originally from Illinois, grew up as a teenager in Kansas. I am now in the military and stationed on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.

    I look forward to contributing my piece on these forums, and discussing the different aspects of Christianity with my fellow Baptists.

    Well, just come right in and sit a spell. Welcome.

    We're sorta like a billboard at the entrance to a small community in Western Kentucky. Welcome from a bunch of happy people and a couple of old grouches.

    Welcome to the Baptist Board, Woody. I'm a Baptist because I believe they are the closest to the truth. The only problem is I was told there are more than 40 different kinds of Baptists. There's a 7th Day Baptist in my home city. I was told there is also a "Baptist" church with Catholic beliefs.
