Can anyone help me find out how to request a 50th wedding anniversary letter from George Bush? Somehow I don't think a congratulatory letter from President Obama would mean very much to my parents!

    Thanks,
    Cindy

You might send a letter to one of the Texas Senators and ask for their help

What a thoughtful gift. I hope you succeed in this. I'm sure it will mean a lot to them.

That's sad. I would think that receiving a congratulatory letter from a sitting president would be a thrill to receive whether one agreed or disagreed with his policies.

Regardless, I hope you are able to obtain a letter from the former president.

You might contact your governor, Cindy. Give your parents congratulations from the Baptist Board! :)

    Dear Cindy's Parents,

I want to congratulate you on "Mission Accomplished!" Fifty years in the holy state of marrification is a beautiful thing. Of course, we already knew of this happy occasion before Cindy told us. Wiretaps, you know. Once again, Happy Anniversary!

    Best regards,

    Gor . . . Georj . . .uh...."W"

Very tacky reply MP. This is not supposed to be a funny story. We're talking real life here and, yes, it IS a big accomplishment. Try to hold your sarcasm and save it for a thread that needs it (if you can find one). This is a fellowship forum not a debate forum.
