    And he was a fine Christian man because he died in a war? I'm sorry. Tell me he shared his faith with his fellow soldiers. Tell me about his prayer life. Tell me about his devoted Bible study. Then I would call him a fine Christian man. I'm not saying thar Jesse didn't live a devoted Christian life. But telling me he died in battle doesn't tell me that.

    You're right. I respect his devotion to the Lord. The decision to become a marine to die for a questionable cause was his, as well.

    Stop it. Politicizing this man's death is unconcionable (sp). It is bordering on evil. Stop it.

    BTW; We are having a funeral this week for one of our own young men who has fallen in battle also.:tear:

    Amen. I was looking for words to express what I felt about his remarks. He comes across like this too much for me.
