Lewis and Clark

    My second son is in 8th grade and even though we homeschool, he is a distance runner for our local middle school. This year marks the 200th anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition and we've studied it a lot. We went down to Jefferson City Missouri and over to see where Sgt Floyd is buried near Council Bluffs,Iowa and on to Sioux City. But a few days ago we were watching a special on Lewis and Clark and my son piped in, and said of the men who made the journey, "Now THAT was a CrossCountry Team!"
