Local Sunday morning radio broadcast

    I was asked two weeks ago to teach on our churches radio broadcast this Sunday morning at 9:00 AM. I found out at church tonight that the host of the program will not be able to be their so I now have to handle the complete broadcast on Sunday morning. I have never been on the radio before much less host an entire broadcast so please pray that the Lord will help me do a good job for him on Sunday morning at 9:00. Thanks and God bless.

    Seriously, are you involved in some sort of series? Just continue with it and teach what Scripture passage or passages you are covering. Need some "filler material"? Check the concordance or a Nave's or something similar and use a few more Scriptures in context. Paul said 'I shunned not to declare unto you the whole counsel of God', I believe meaning what Scripture teaches. His admonition to Timothy was 'I charge you, Timothy, preach the Word, be instant in season , out of season...'. Just do that and all should be fine. Pray about what God would have you say, say it, and know that we are praying for God's will to be done, here.

    Oh yeah, one final bit - On that "season" thing, don't worry too much about it being "Open Season" on 'Substitute Teachers'. :( Usually, most of the critics have very poor aim! :rolleyes: [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG]
