London in the summer

    Okay, we got our plane tickets. 10 hours in London. I lost the thread.

    Where do you go? What do you do? HELP HELP HELP?

    We want the quickie around London. Where would you go?

    Tower of London Tour requires at least 2 hours.

    I think you want to see Tower Bridge.

    London's Eye usually has very long queues in the summer.

    See Big Ben's tower and clock.

    Perhaps consider one of the opne top bus tours. At least you will get to see everything that way even if you don't have time to visit them.

    Only 10 hours........

    With so short a time, maybe you don't want to get too bogged down at one particular location. I agree that one of the 3-4 hour bus tours is probably the way to go. You'll see the maximum number of sights in so short a time.

    And don't forget to bring a compact umbrella. The last time I was in London, it rained 6 out of 7 days.

    I would get on the first Piccadilly Line tube train at Heathrow airport and ride directly to Covent Garden to see London's Transport Museum.

    But if I flew into Gatwick airport, I would take the Gatwick express train to Victoria Station in London, change to the Victoria Line for Green Park, and change there to get a Piccadilly Line train to Covent Garden to see London's Transport Museum.

    Okay, now that I understand, Speed pass, you are correct. That is what one should do in London. Get on the Underground tube piccadilly line and go wherever. A day pass will get you on most of the bus lines in London. We didn't make it to the transport museum, but we did go see the tower of London, the bridge, the ferris wheel, the westminster abbey, parliament, etc, etc,etc. And of course, Harrods.
