I can't say anything about the speed of the board as I never had a problem with the old one, but the new one sure does a search faster then the old one.SpiritualMadMan said:Me Too!
But, didn't fix the speed probem...
Eric B said:I just tried that with the "Quick reply" box right below your post, and it worked. I never knew you could change the font like that before.
But then, as I have mentioned elsewhere, the "Quick Reply" button doesn't work at all.
The things I like best about the new system is the WYSIWYG feature, where formatting is applied automatically, instead of needing tags. And to have it in the final font, it is much easier to catch typos in the proportional space fonts than in the old Courier typewriter text.

Activating user stylesheets in the browser
In Opera, you can choose to disable the page author's stylesheet(s) when you activate the user stylesheet. In IE, only certain styles can be disabled. This usually makes unreadable sites instantly accessible.
- IE/Win users can check under Tools > Internet Options > Accessibility to set their user stylesheet and options.
- Opera users can press Ctrl-G to switch to User Mode. The user stylesheet and other options are changeable under Edit > Preferences > Page Style. See also OperaUserStylesheets. Versions 7 and above have about 10 pre-made user stylesheets for emulating text browsers, outliningstructural elements and other useful accessibility errata...
- Mozilla and Netscape 6/7 users must store their user stylesheet in a particular directory. See MozillaUserStylesheets.
- IE 5 Mac/OS9 users, check under Edit > Preferences and go to Web browser > webcontent. Check use my stylesheet. OS X users will find the Preferences under the 'Explorer' menu.
- Safari users can check under Safari > Preferences and click the Advanced tab. You can navigate to a user stylesheet by selecting Other from the popup menu.

Hope this helps?
