Looters and race-baiters are just as wicked as corrupt cops

This cop looks guilty and I expect justice will be served. The looters and race-baiters are no better. They couldn't care less about George Floyd.

There are some sincere protesters, caring about justice. Others only care about their agendas and free TVs.

I guess that the looters and rioters will be allowed once again to destroy property which is not theirs, inconvinience trafficers who had nothing to do with the victim's death, rob from decent and honest business owners, and endanger innocent lives with no jail time and lots of support from our news outlets whose concerns are as pure as the wind-driven snow.

Sincerity is not enough. If they really cared about racism, they would realize how deep and dark is their own and address the problem at the root by beginning with themselves. They are the blind leading the blind.

Ah, remember good ole days when jesse and Rev Sharpton ran to these scenes with their standard race baiting speeches ready to go!

Is Minneapolis racist? Then the good lady needs to confront her own leader, Mayor Frey.

I'm not at any level condoning or defending the looting and burning, I think it's awful and it hurts people, including minorities, who need jobs that they will now no longer have. But how many people here hold Martin Luther King Jr as an authority? Because "Riots are the language of the unheard" is a real quote from him.
Perhaps creating real change is part of the solution.

IMO, rioters should be shot.

MLK believed in peaceful non-violent demonstrations.

He did. But that quote is also a real quote that he actually said. That doesn't intend to excuse the behavior, it merely seeks a compassionate understanding of it.

I'd have to see the context. I think MLK would be disgusted by modern rioters.

Nonsense. Those riots do not fall under such a category, and if MLKJ thought so, then he was dead wrong. But I doubt the case could be made that he did.

Both the protests and the riots were kneejerk reactions. This mindless business of reacting rather than pursuing a course of justice is just the sort of thing that will set back any cause they might have.

Those that always make it about race sets back society in general, and them in particular.

well, there has to be a change in many of the larger cities, as pretty much under socialist Dem control since after WW II!

If one wants to see the poster boy for how not to run a large city, see detroit, as up until time of the race riots in 1960's, was a model city of over 2 million, with affluent black class and culture! dems took over local area then, and was brought down in the muck and mire economically and crime rise!

Don't elect progressive Democrats if you want to be safe, says former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani on 'Hannity.'

Giuliani points out that he inherited such a mess and had to work hard to turn it around. The police conducting the arrest were very poorly trained.

And the riots are ultimately the mayor's fault for not insisting on order.

The looters & arsonists aren't concerned with honoring Mr. Floyd at all. They are using a mass gathering as an excuse to commit criminal acts & should be dealt with as forcefully as is necessary, arrested, & given stiff jail sentences.

Much of the property they've looted or destroyed is owned by BLACKS ! And this time, the govt. won't build it back as they did much of the Watts 'hood in LA.

Detroit had a deadly race riot in 1943, with 34 deaths, mostly blacks, & over 1800 arrests, mostly blacks, with stiff sentences imposed on those found guilty. After that, tensions eased, as both sides resolved to iron out their differences & work together - til the liberal invasion began !
