"For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost."

What does this scripture speak to you?

Those whom Christ seeks He also saves. The verse doesn't say that He seeks and tries to save. It says that He seeks and saves. [IMG]

    Answer:

'ALL we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on Him {Christ} the iniquity of us ALL.' The Prophet Isaiah under Divine inspiration from the Lord would hardly concur with the Geneva persecutor and executioner, John Calvin.

You prove over and over and over again, Ray, that you are unable to debate using the Biblical text as you are constantly throwing in perjoratives about Calvin and the Catholic Church. Neither are an issue in this forum. No one here is defending Calvin. Just so the discussion can move forward from now on - I'll concede that Calvin was a flawed person and I'm sure that all other Calvinists would concur with that assessment. So, can you deal with the issues and not the personalities from now on or is that simply beyond your ability?
