    Luke 24:21, ". . . But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done. . . ." And that would be our Sunday.

    The second day since those things were done would be our Saturday.

    The first day since those things were done would be our _________.

    40 for as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Mt 12

    Of the three days of the week views.

    The Friday crucifixion view. The first day since is counted as the second day. The second day since is counted as the third day.

    The Wednesday crucifixion view. The first day since is Thursday. The second day since is Friday. The third day since is Saturday. So Sunday is a fourth day since. Counting the days are five.

    A thought. Maybe relative, maybe not.

    Relative to the following statements:
    John 11:9 Jesus answered, 'Are there not twelve hours in the day? if any one may walk in the day, he doth not stumble, because the light of this world he doth see;
    Gen 1:5 and God calleth to the light 'Day,' and to the darkness He hath called 'Night;' and there is an evening, and there is a morning -- day one.

    I wonder how many hours Jesus was dead and I wonder how many hours Jesus was in the tomb?
