Mac computer password

    Does anyone k now offhand how to delete a password?

    There are two accounts to log onto when you boot the computer up, and my teenage son has password protected one of these. I am suspicious, and want into the second account labeled anonymous which is password protected. He is off the computer until I do this, or send this computer to a computer store to do it for me.

    I'm no mac expert but go to system folder/control panels/multiple users and snoop around. This is no os9 I'd guess yours would be similar.

    If you don't find anything post what os you are using, it will probably help anyone else that might know.

    If you are using OS X and have your original instalation disc, you can boot of the CD and reset your password.

    Finally that question from my certification test comes in handy! :)

    Not quite an A but plenty for a passing grade :)

    I actually didn't take any classes for it. I just went and took the test after a few years of experience.
    I set the test for two weeks in advance and then studied that long.

    You know, come to think of it, I am not sure I got that question right....I think I actually learned that from the test.

    I had forgotten about that!
