Mail Client

What mail client do you use? I'm looking for a good Windows alternative to OL, OLE, and Thunderbird.

I've got all personal my email forwarding to GMail. I do have my own Exchange Server, and was going to use the Outlook Web Access on it, but by just forwarding it to GMail I don't have to worry about opening up the firewall for it (or backups.)

I do use Outlook 2003 for work mail, but I'm 100% web based for personal mail.

I also use Gmail for my email. I have my companies email going to my system at work, but it's also forwarded to Gmail and I find that I almost 90% of the time check all my mail with Gmail and never pull up my client at work.

Gmail has better filtering than I can get with my host, and it allows me to organize everything nicely with their Label system.

You can set Gmail send and receive mail from many different email addresses and have all your mail in one central location.

Works Great!

I would even pay Google for this feature if they ever stopped giving it away.

I have to admit. I use Hotmail and even though I use Outlook 2003, I think I prefer Windows Live products over Gmail.

Gmail seems good and maybe I just need to give it more of a chance. But I do like the comfort of my e-mails being stored on my local computer with the ability to sync with my hotmail account for when I am away.

Kubel, do you use Yahoo/hotmail or AOL/ISP for your e-mail?

I do use gmail, yahoo (isp), and windows live once in a while- but I don't use a client for any of them. This would be primarily for mail from our MiniHost.org server (IMAP/SMTP) as our administration and support ticket system is piped through a few email addresses.

I use only Gmail and save anything important.

I have all my various emails forwarded to my main gmail account and send them out with appropriate addy from the one account.

I am a big gmail fan.

I use Thunderbird when I need to download emails - I have a gmail account specifically for that.
