Pat Robertson Slams Trump's Policy With Turkey

“Robertson concluded by saying “The President of the United States is in danger of losing the mandate of Heaven if he permits this to happen.””

Perhaps those that follow Pat Robinson can share some insight on where this man is coming from.

Have all Presidents he approves of had a mandate of Heaven??

Reminds me of Harold Camping.

I don't see God listed in the following definitions of mandate.

Definition of mandate | Dictionary.com

a command or authorization to act in a particular way on a public issue given by the electorate to its representative:The president had a clear mandate to end the war.

a command from a superior court or official to a lower one:The appellate court resolved the appeal and issued a mandate to the district judge.

an authoritative order or command:a royal mandate.

(in the League of Nations) a commission given to a nation to administer the government and affairs of a former Turkish territory or German colony.

I've always thought of "Mandate of Heaven" as a Chinese concept. A given dynasty ruled until it lost its Mandate of Heaven." This concept helps to explain why the government in Beijing does what it does. The PRC expects others to understand it has the Mandate of Heaven. So, its interpretation of the facts is the only correct one.

Trump has turned his back on our Kurdish allies but he is not the first American President to do so.
Difference is we did not deploy assets to the region for the Kurds. They just happened to benefit from our presence. The others that you may be talking about are a different story. How long do we have to keep military in regions after the ‘objective’? We are still ‘protecting’ countries who don’t need protecting at great cost.
The left who claims to despise war is now in love with it. It further shows the insanity that comprises the left today.

There are many in the military right now who are upset with Trump for taking this long to extricate. I wouldn’t want to walk a mile in his shoes, but I’m awfully glad that he is doing it for us, US, USA.

They just didn't happen to benefit. They were are allies. Wilson betrayed them. We left them behind after the first Iraq War and Obama left them behind when he pulled out of Iraq. Now add Trump to the list.

They are Sunni. Do you think the Sunni would continue to be our allie if we sacrificed our boys long enough to make them the victors of the region?
