The top line of the article,

"Manuel De Lacunza, S.J. (July 19, 1731 – c. June 18, 1801) was a Jesuit priest who used the pseudonym Juan Josafat Ben-Ezra in his main work on the interpretation of the prophecies of the Bible, which was entitled The Coming of the Messiah in Majesty and Glory."

A few days ago I searched online for the "history of dispensationalism" and many of the articles did not mention, at all, the RC foundation. If they are not ashamed of Martin Luther, are they ashamed of Mr. De Lacunza or perhaps they are unaware of his existence? I was saved under the teachings of Hal Lindsey and later read several Dallas Seminary professors like Walvoord and Ryrie and there was no mention of De Lacunza or Ribera. They only mentioned Irving, Darby, and Scofield.

Here is a video about the book Edward Irving translated into English.
Edward Irving is considered a founding father of modern dispensationalism.

Most modern pre-trib rapturists cite Tius 2:13 besides the key Biblical rapture text, 1 Thessalonians 4:17. [FYI I am post-trib pre-wrath pre-mill.] Not a secret rapture, with Titus 2:13.
