Webmaster, I'm sorry to get off topic but I've just gotta tell this story...

The Farmer and I were driving to Arkansas a couple of weeks ago when we met an oncoming 'British-looking' car that had a Union Jack on the front license plate. The Farmer laughed and said, "Didn't anyone tell him that they LOST that war?" Well, that made me laugh because I told the Farmer that he's a fine one to talk...just which flag is on the front of our truck? (the confederate flag) Didn't anyone tell us that we LOST that war? [IMG] The Farmer thought for a minute and then replied, "Yeah, but the South was Right!" [IMG]

    Ah...only in America! [IMG]

The sad thing is that if you compare divorce rates, violent crime rates, drug use rates between the red area and the rest of the map it isn't any better in the red area. Violent crime rates, in particular, are much worse in the South.

Does anyone actually live in that one little county in West Texas?

Personally, I think this is proof once again that the Baptists and the Catholics are notorious for counting everyone on the roll, regardless of their participation in Church or ministry.

(Go to the bathroom in a Baptist service, and you'll get counted twice! [IMG] )

Looks like Arkansas and Georgia have the Baptist bragging rights - they are the only two states that are SOLID RED! I think the differences between the Baptists of those states would probably make an interesting contrast.
