It is what it is, we shouldn't be surprised. Our culture has capitulated to complete acceptance and affirmation of this lifestyle. I'm surprised people are surprised.

Not quite yet. If it was "complete" then this wouldn't be making headlines.

These headlines are still in the process of making us believe our culture has put a stamp of approval on sinful behavior.

From the beginning a Marine is taught that correct behavior & above all "Strict Disipline" is crutial to being in the leather necks. The reasons may appear a tad bit absurd, but we are concerned with the future of the Marines ... primarily because we are a military branch that can get eliminated, with the Army and or Navy. Therefore we shun controversery.

This is not about marines. This is about the nation and no nation in history has ever lifted itself back up to moral ground once it fell from it. I strongly believe this is the result of the church becoming luke warm.

Maybe to you it isnt ....but to anyone affiliated with my corps....it certainly is...so if you want to poke each other, do it in private or go join the AF.:rolleyes:

I saw the article headline yesterday, and abstained from watching, as I thought this was what it was about.

Is this lifestyle pushed because it lends itself to less procreation, along the lines of perhaps cutting down on population?

The marines is no different then any other branch. That picture proves that as you notice that is not someone from the Navy, Air force, or Army. That is a Marine! If there was any difference then there would be discipline in the matter, but there won't be. They are no different. All branches of the service has went down the tube. If the Marines were really honorable the personnel would seek a discharge and leave it to those who seek such a lifestyle, but that is not happening either. Silence and no action is equal to acceptance.

Our nation is on a serious downward spiral while the world watches. Even if we are not shocked I know the world is. If there was any honorable leaders in the military they would speak out about this and resign their commission immediately. If every officer would suddenly resign it might get some action in this area, but I just do not think there are any real men left in the military. This is what our current President has done to us. He has brought disgrace and dishonor on our nation, and we are doomed to be destroyed.
