Mark is having eye surgery right now!

    Please Lord Jesus, we pray that You will guide the surgeon to what is causing
    Mark's eye problem. We are asking You for a miracle! In Jesus' Name. Amen

    update this evening...

    Mark's father-in-law has told us that the doctor has never seen a case like
    this one. Saturday Mark is scheduled to have a CT scan. Please continue to pray with us for a miracle and to give the doctors/ surgeon who need the
    wisdom from God to do the right thinking and procedure!

    Mark will have a CT scan tomorrow along with some tests.
    Please pray with us that the doctor/surgeon will find out what is causing
    the bleeding in the retina area. The doctor said that this is an unusual case
    for him. We are praying for miracle. Please join us with faith believing God
    can heal. We want God's answer to our prayers!:praying:

    Next week sometime we will hear of the results from...

    the CT scan and tests!

    UPDATE from Mark's father-in-law...

    He believes that Mark has an appointment to see his doctor
    and maybe will have another test taken by his surgeon.

    Mark is planning to go to another state to see an eye and ear specialist.

    Dear Father God in the name of Jesus,
    We thank you for the miracles of your creation and that all power is in your hands. We acknowledge, Lord, how often we take the gifts you've given us, like sight, so much for granted.... and we thank you for your providence and blessings and your tender mercies and patience, and ask you to forgive us for taking so many blessings for granted. The affliction of my brother Mark, reminds me how in so many ways I enjoy and use the gifts you've given me without giving it any thought and confess and ask your forgiveness and hear my prayer. We know, Lord, how moved you were in compassion for the blind and the frail and the lame and remember how you ministered to us with such grace, and taught us in parables about the importance of spiritual sight and how wonderful it was that day when you opened my sight and entered my life to do the ultimate miracle of redeeming me with your precious blood. Relying upon your plans for our good and knowing your will is perfect, we pray that you will bless you child Mark and prepare him and sustain him through this trial and help him draw closer to you and make it an opportunity to increase his faith and expand his witness and bring glory to the power of your name. Provide protection and healing Lord and direct and guide his doctors in determining the treatment for this affliction. Move through their thoughts and give them them wisdom in diangosing and planning course of treatment and through their hands that they will move with decisive and healing precision which only you can give, if it is your choice that surgery is necessary. Realizing that you know the end from the beginning and that all things trusted in your care is good, we place and commit our brother Mark to your care. We thank you Lord for your love and protection and for your tender mercies. If it is your will, you can do mighty things and heal Mark and make him an example which astonishes the doctors. If all it takes is faith the size of a mustard seed to move a mountain.... I know you can be depended upon. I know too, that you understand the doubts which sometimes would enter in and that you heard the prayer of the father concerning his sick child who says "Lord, I believe. Help thou my unbelief." So I ask for all praying for Mark and especially for Mark that you will sustain our faith and let thy will be done and may it be glory to thee, In Jesus name amen.

    Update 2/1/10

    We are praying that he will get a call telling that he has an appointment at the
    university hospital to have specialist to find the problem and prayerfully a
    remedy to this eye situation.:praying: Thanks for all of you prayer partners!

    Please continue to pray for Mark and we would like to add his mother-in-law
    who will be having surgery (hernia) sometime this week or next.

    Mark's MIL's surgery is today 11:15am( Chicago time) if weather permits
