    Anyone wanna guess why Mary Winkler (Selmer, Tenn.) shot her husband in the back? The prosecution will not discusss motive, except to say it was NOT infidelity.

    My wife thinks Mary suspected him of abusing one of the daughters. I think it's more likely he abused Mary.

    From the news reports I have heard I suspect she has "issues" and will go for some sort of insanity defense. I don't know that there is any evidence that he abused anyone (though that cannot yet be ruled out).
