In the beginning
God created
the heaven and the earth.
Genesis 1:1
Through faith
we understand
that the worlds were framed
by the word of God,
so that things which are seen
were not made
of things which do appear.
Hebrews 11:3
The heavens declare the glory of God;
and the firmament sheweth his handiwork.
Psalm 19:1
When I consider the heavens,
the work of thy fingers,
the moon and the stars,
which thou hast ordained;
What is man,
that thou art mindful of him?
and the son of man that thou visitest him?
Psalm 8:3-4
This morning I was thinking about where did God get the material to make the universe?
He did not go down to the gravel pit, pick up a couple of rocks, and fling them into space.
Yes, of course that is silly.
He made everything from nothing, with thought and tremendous power.
So everything that exists has its start is from Him, including ourselves.
We, from time to time, have the ability to think about it, "as if" outside or separate from our material.
Boggling to me.
