Did I miss the part where he told him about Christ? Invited him to church? In love, preached the gospel?
I guess I missed that part.
He just ranted that he made an UGLY "woman" and therefore was in the wrong. That everyone thought so and he really just mocked him over and over.
Wow!
This confused and sinful young man needs a MUCH different message than this secular one.
What of what he said was untruthful?
1. Men dressed up as women look like ugly women.
Do you think men dressed as women look good?
2. By making yourself less masculine you are making yourself a poor man while simultaneously imitating a poor woman.
Do you think a man can do a good job being a woman?
That is straight Bible. The truth is only offensive to those that despise the truth.
Was Elijah "in the wrong" for his sarcasm about baal and baal's followers?
Was John the Baptist wrong for his comments to Herod, telling him that he was an adulterer?
Was Paul wrong for hoping that the Pro-Circumcision sect would get overzealous and cut their entire male appendage off?
Was Jesus wrong in Luke 11:42-50 when Jesus insulted the Pharisees, then the Lawyers said "Hey, you're lumping us in with the Pharisees!" and Jesus said "Oh, thanks for reminding me, you're a bunch of lazy hypocrites"
Strong language is commanded of us in the Bible. And Christians who refuse to emulate Elijah, John the Baptist, Paul, and Jesus are elevating the "nice" parts of the Bible above the "not nice" parts. Christ is both a Lion and a Lamb, and we are told to emulate both parts. Woe to any Christian refusing to do so because they elevate their own "nice" moral code above God's inerrant, and unchanging moral code.
