McCain May Not Support Palin

She would appeal to her fans more, by not even seeking his endorsement. She should move away from him, and closer to her base. She's the future, he's barely hangin on.

I would say that is good news for Governor Palin. McCain, who I supported and who I think is a true hero, will not be a favorite of the Republican Governors who must rebuild the party.
I agree, McCain's support won't help Palin one bit. McCain almost didn't have a convention until he chose Palin. He is not a leader in the GOP.
I think the GOP has two years to see who emerges as a leader. Think of it this way, when the primaries began, Obama was an unknown. Kennedy called him by the wrong name and I have to admit, I like most American's never heard of him.

It is far, far, far too early to endorse anyone for any office in the next election.

I don't think she was his first choice. Just another compromise on his path to mediocrity.
Palin and McCain differed on a lot of policy points before she was named. She had to alter her position on several issues and even stated that theirs would have been a McCain administration with McCain policies not hers.
Now that she is free to put forth her own ideas she should. I was a McCain supporter only after Palin was added.
Palin may or may not be a force in republican politics moving forward, but that is really up to her.

He chose Palin primarily to go after the Hillary supporters. I am sure she got a good number of the pants suite ladies who stayed loyal to their gender. It was an added bonus that she solidified the base but I don't think that was intentional.

I don't know, I have always thought the opposite here. I don't know how anyone could be so foolish as to think Palin would bring Hillary supporters to the Republicans. She is the anti-Hillary in every way. The only way a Hillary supporter would switch to Palin would be if they did not care about issues at all and votes solely based on the sex of the candidate. I don't believe any of the pants suite ladies as you described them went for Palin unless it was out of protest because Hillary lost. They hat Palin.LeBuick said:

Palin has rid herself of an albatross around her neck, IMHO; certainly no loss to conservatives. Which, incidentally, McCain WAS NOT!

This was my point about Palin, she had the GOP in this last election. She will have to be liked to raise the numbers. Not saying she can't but pointing out the objective.
Now something that came to light this last election, voters seem to not like the attacks. When the left attacked Palin their poll numbers soared. When the GOP began attacking Obama his numbers rebounded. I don't know what platform the GOP will have if attacks are not used???
