Dr. Bob Jones III will be appearing on CNN's Larry King Live on
Friday, December 20 (9 p.m. EST) for an hour-long interview that will
range across a variety of subjects yet to be determined.

Dr. Jones sees this as an opportunity to present the Gospel, and his
desire is for the Lord's name to be honored. He also sees this as an
entering into spiritual warfare--an arena of spiritual combat fraught
with human impossibilities--which can be successfully waged only with
the Lord's divine intervention and enablement. He needs you to stand
with him in prayer.

They will be taking calls during the program. He would appreciate it
if anyone from our extended University family who is interested would
try to call in with whatever perspective he or she may have.

 

On Christmas night (Wednesday, December 25), Rev. Jerry Falwell will appear on CNN's "Crossfire" (7:30PM) to defend the display of Nativity Scenes and the Ten Commandments in the public square. He will debate with Barry Lynn, president of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, an organization that habitually opposes even the most benign expressions of public faith.
